If for some unlikely reason you
are not completely satisfied with the merchandise purchase made
directly from and shipped by DSSI, you may return the merchandise
for a refund within 30 days of shipment. Exceptions to this
general refund policy are listed below.
To Return Merchandise:
Please Call 1-888-516-0365 to request a Return Merchandise
Authorization (RMA) Number.
All Returns - Please Note:
Merchandise returned without an RMA
will not be processed and no refund will be made.
Returns must be sent freight pre-paid (unless you are returning a
defective product for replacement). No COD returns will be
accepted.
No refunds will be made for returned merchandise that arrives more
than 5 days past the 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee.
Refunds are for the purchase price of the merchandise only.
Shipping & handling fees (original and return) are non-refundable.
Returned merchandise must include all original components,
literature, warranties, and packaging in the same salable
condition as it was received in. All returned merchandise may be
subject to a 15% restocking fee (of retail value before
promotional discounts, mail-in rebates, or discounts applied by
DSSI).
Damaged merchandise, cosmetically or otherwise, is subject to a
restocking fee on a case-by-case basis (please call for details).
DSSI is not responsible for third party services provided on
products sold. Failure of any third party service will void any
and all return possibilities.
Returns - Please Note:
Professional installation fees are non refundable after the
installation work has been completed. Purchasers of professional
installation service (or equipment where professional installation
is included at no charge) will be assessed and you agree to pay
Direct Satellite Service, Inc. the cost of the installation and
de-installation if necessary The cost of the installation and or
de-installation will be determined on a case-by-case basis (please
call for details).
All defective DIRECTV equipment may be replaced by refurbished /
renewed product as specified by the manufacturer's return policy.
Service Warranties
DSSI does not provide programming or Internet services for the
units it sells. Third party vendors provide these services
independently. Therefore, DSSI makes no warranties, express or
implied, regarding these services. Should any third party services
be discontinued at any time, it is understood that such
discontinuance will void any and all return possibilities,
policies and any warranties for merchandise used in conjunction
with the third party vendor services and will not trigger any
warranty, express or implied, provided by DSSI as permitted by
law. Examples of the aforementioned third party vendors include,
but are not limited to: DIRECTV, Inc.; TiVo, Inc.; WebTV Networks,
Inc.; RCA Thompson Inc; and Hughes Network Systems, Inc. There are
no warranties, express or implied, that extend beyond the
description set forth above.
